Mnesarchus
Is mixing two different brands of sea salt together and using the mixture a safe practice? I have 50g mix of Instant Ocean and I got a 50g mix of Kent Marine as a gift... just wondering if it would be ok. Thanks Link to comment

Sahin
I dont see why there should be a problem. In fact i would tend to think it would give a "better, all round and balanced" salt water. Perhaps make each half upto the required salinity and then mix the two saltwaters together. Instead of chucking in the two salts into freshwater...not really sure why I say this but just tend to think its better this way. Link to comment
