JBJ Cubey Lighting

Hi,

 

i have been been out of the hobby for some time now and trying to get back into it (and stay in for a long time to come)

 

i purchased JBJ’s new 10 gallon cubey with LED lighting, but not thrilled with the quality of the hood. I was thinking about removing it and purchasing either the aquamaxx LED clamp lighting or the Kessil A80.  

 

I did some researching, but have yet to find someone doing something similar with this specific tank so looking for pics if any and some advice on the lights I mentioned.

Don't have a pic, but the Kessil, nanobox, or Aquamaxx should all be better than what they put in that one.

I actually just fitted a maxspect razor LED light.

How did you remove your canopy from the tank? Just got it to get back into the hobby but still have a ration I would like to do something similar to what you did, any suggestions or did you just break it off?
