TheJDB Posted September 6, 2004 Share Posted September 6, 2004 how long has it ben running, what is in your tank, how big is your tank, what kind of skimmer is it, and how much water is it producing in a given amount of time. These things will be needed to help answer your qustion. Without this info you could get a hundred different answers and still not fix the problem. It could be that there is nothing to skim yet or the skimmer is not broke in but you do need to adjust the flow for now so it doesnt produce to much foam. Link to comment
corriewf Posted September 8, 2004 Share Posted September 8, 2004 Most of the time when the skimmers are producing a rather wet foam it indicates that your skimmer isnt producing fine enough bubbles.This means that it either needs adjusting and/or its a cheap skimmer and wont pull out as much as you would like.
