Brian whitman
Ok dumb question. Just got a Hanna checker alk. When using the syringe to measure 1 ml of reagent, where do you draw to? Is it 1 in this pic, the bottom “rib” of the plunger, or 2, the very bottom of the plunger, or, is it the actual liquid level? I ask because when I draw the liquid, there is an air gap between the plunger and liquid level. Also, when I try to draw the reagent with the tip on the syringe, it doesn’t draw, should I just skip the tip? Quote Link to comment
Clown79
When you use the tip it fills up but the syringe doesn't. The additional tip is 1ml of fluid. Quote Link to comment
Archetype
Make sure the syringe sits flat when you put the tip on. When you measure, you use arrow #1 in your picture. Quote Link to comment
This guy is extra salty
I had the same issue, i extremely dislike the syringes that Hanna aqua provides so i got some others off amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B072XFYXVB?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd cause i wanted to have a syringe that can pull/hold 10ml or more for filling up the cuvettes much easier since buying the extras Quote Link to comment
