GenericReefer
After taking some photos of my tank, I started to notice some stuff that came on a pound of live rock I got to seed the tank. A lovely person on reef2reef saw some sponges and feather dusters, but pointed out this "pointy colony" So what do you guys think?? Quote Link to comment
mbarton2010
I believe it’s a type of coraline like algae Quote Link to comment
The Reef Novice
IMO from what I can see, that could possibly be green star polyps. Can you take a closer infocuse picture? Quote Link to comment
GenericReefer
That is the closest I can get. I actually got that photo by zooming in as much as I can. I think it may just be algae or a sponge, as the basin I got it from had no light in it. Sunlight wouldn't be enough to grow it, I think.. Quote Link to comment
connorp
Looks like some kind of sponge to me. Quote Link to comment
