Is my Frogspawn Ok?

The second head of my frog spawn hasn't been opening up lately. Usually it opens up pretty good. I did have a ricordea mushroom move by it for awhile till it moved away. I also found a white tissue like substance coming off it. it was coming off the outside of the branch near the head, as if the branch was shedding to get bigger. Much like a tree sheds its truck. Flow is good, low to moderate. Feed it mysis shrimp and reef roids. I hit is with restore and after a few minutes it started to open up a little again. The last picture is how it usually is. Anyways take a look and let me know.

Is that algae around it or  brown jelly? 

It's hard to see with the light being so blue
