colinlevy
Might be a dumb question, but when installing a nanobox using a gooseneck, do I just clamp it on so the screws are into the back of the tank? I am installing it on my new IM25 Lagoon and I barely screwed them in and it scratched the paint on the back of the tank. If that is how it's supposed to be, that's fine, just curious. Thrassian Atoll
Yeah, that's it. The paint on the back is worthless. Falls off by looking at it. I actually think it's just some black vinyl to be honest. Quote Link to comment

Now that I think about it I have seen people take it off the back to be able to have a light on it for a fuge. Quote Link to comment
burtbollinger
I used a thin piece of plastic wedged in to protect the glass. Quote Link to comment
DaveFason
The vinyl will come off regardless on what you normally use. Burts idea is great using a small piece of plastic/shim. Let me know if I can help with anything else. -Dave Quote Link to comment
