tawamiami
HOLY CRAP I JUST TURNED ON THE LIGHTS AND SAW ON MY LR THIS LITTLE BEIGEISH CRAB THAT LOOKS COMPLETELY COVERED IN A THICK MOSS OR SOMETHING...(IT LOOKS FUZZY)...and it had something that looked like aiptasia growing on it's shell, except it doesn't have a "stalk" and looks like it's imbedded in the shell. when the lights went on it looked like it was positioning itself into my rock so that it was hidden, but the "aiptasia" was getting light. anyone know if there are any freakish crabs that form some kind of symbiotic relationship with a little anemone on it's back? i don't have a digital and i know this is incredibly vague, but anyone??? ViciousFishes
I've never seen crabs with them but i got 2 hermit crabs with anemones. They actually move the anemone to it's new shell when they outgrow the old one. It seems like they just started selling them that way fairly recently. Keep an eye on it and see if when it molts it gets the anemone to attach to its new skin. Link to comment
