ArowanaLover1902
I have a tiger pistol shrimp who I've had for almost 6 months. He used to have a goby, but there was some unfortunate predation from a frogfish (who was literally 1/4 of his size, I still have no idea how he did it), he has been alone for a while now. Anyways, I've got some macroalgae and I saw him come out of his cave, grasp a stalk with his small pincer, and then proceed to break the algae at the base by using a cavitation bubble (the incredible bubble created when the claw snaps shut). It was really cool, he dragged it back to his (I'm not sure why?). Has anyone else seen something like this? Quote Link to comment
FollyFish
I have a Randal and YWG. When I added the Randal I added a 1/4 cup of crushed snail shells. All the shells have since disappeared. The Randal will use whatever it can find to reinforce its burrow walls. Your Tiger is most likely doing the same. Try added some crushed shell building materials. Quote Link to comment
