new2reefin
I purchased dry rock from Reefcleaners and want to wash it down and scrub it some with a brush to knock off the loose dust and small rock pieces. Can I use tap water to do this or should I use RODI water? Quote Link to comment

Clown79
Tap if fine but i'd do a final dip/rinse with dechlorinator. Quote Link to comment

kcamp317
I don't think it matters.....I rinsed mine off outside with the garden hose but I did flush them out in a bucket of RO water before I put them in the tank although I would imagine thats unnecessary . Quote Link to comment
