Biocube Trim

I’m not sure if this is frowned upon, but I posed this question in the beginner section and then thought it Best belonged here.

I just received my new Biocube, and after setting it on the stand and loading some equipment in I noticed a small, almost hairline crack in the bottom trim of the aquarium. The glass and silicone are in perfect shape under and around it. So exactly how important is that piece of trim to the structure? Am I doomed if I fill it up?

Sorry for the potato quality picture. The crack is about 3.5 inches long and just barely grabs a fingernail running across it.
