Rusty_uk
Hey guys On reading many recommendations and due to available space in my sump (i have the IM20 Fusion Nano with built in sump on the back) i purchased an Eshopps Nano skimmer. Only installed yesterday so im hoping that it's just a break in issue, but it's really noisy. I have the tank in my home office and previously could not hear either the return pump or the wave maker. But this thing buzzes like crazy. Is there some trick to making it more quiet? Does it need to settle? Have i installed it wrong (pump is ony just submerged)? Also, if anyone else has one of these things. How high above the water level do you have yours? The instructions are pretty useless. Cheers R Quote Link to comment

David in NC
I put a towel on top of the lid. It damps the vibration noise and makes it much quieter. Quote Link to comment
