Hey ya'll. Not really worried and I've only had him a coupla days. I also know l'm lucky to see any extension in the light. Just wanted to ask some experts' advice on flow. I got him to come out this much with Reef Frenzy and random current.

Reef Frenzy is great stuff - I feed it to my dendros along with a rotating assortment of mysis, cyclops, calanus, and rod's.  The only thing I don't like to feed it is my fish.

But is that a dendro or a sun coral?  Looks very different from my dendro when tentacles are retracted.  If it's a sun coral, they are notorious for only opening in the dark until they get 'trained'.

Yeah. It's a sun coral. :D

High flow is not really needed.  I've been keeping mines in the sump, they extend 24/7.  I used to spot feed it 3-4 times a week with mysis and it was growing new heads every few weeks.
