thespinningsadhu
Hey ya'll. Not really worried and I've only had him a coupla days. I also know l'm lucky to see any extension in the light. Just wanted to ask some experts' advice on flow. I got him to come out this much with Reef Frenzy and random current. Quote Link to comment

There's mysis in it along with scallops and clams and fish and other stuff. Am I missing something? I have dehydrated mysis that I reconstitute with Selcon. This is it - solid and packed with mysis. http://www.larrysreefservices.com/reef-frenzy.html Quote Link to comment

holy carp
Reef Frenzy is great stuff - I feed it to my dendros along with a rotating assortment of mysis, cyclops, calanus, and rod's. The only thing I don't like to feed it is my fish. But is that a dendro or a sun coral? Looks very different from my dendro when tentacles are retracted. If it's a sun coral, they are notorious for only opening in the dark until they get 'trained'. 2 Quote Link to comment
thespinningsadhu
Yeah. It's a sun coral. Quote Link to comment

High flow is not really needed. I've been keeping mines in the sump, they extend 24/7. I used to spot feed it 3-4 times a week with mysis and it was growing new heads every few weeks.
