Reef Glass skimmer "kit"

i've been looking to get the reef glass skimmer for some time now and see you have a kit on sale currently

 

what can you tell me about the air pump that come with this?  i've never heard of this pump before and was wondering about its reliability and more particularly about how loud it is.  

 

i imagine for only 5 bucks more the pump can't be that great and i would be willing to spend a little extra for a silent air pump.  

 

any reviews on this?

I have a tetra whisper and it's well made and super quiet.
