But the sponges will return if a small enough piece is left behind. Actually, zoanthids can sit in open air for an hour or so right? Wouldn't that be long enough to kill the sponge? fishfreak0114 Posted June 15, 2017 Share Posted June 15, 2017 I have the same type of sponge in my tank. When it begins to grow between my zoas and irritate them, I take tweezers and rip what I can out. It hasn't spread very fast though, so it doesn't concern me. 2 Quote Link to comment
