con800
My wife got a tank and stand from a coworker (woohoo, free stuff rules) . Here's the deal though, it's a 10g "designer", 20" tall X 13" X 13" (approx). Is anyone using/used this type of tank for a nano? Some issues that come to mind right away are the 13x13 length/width doesn't give much surface area or real estate on the bottom, and lighting options are limited. Any suggestions? Maybe i'll buy me one of those Oscar fishes to put in it. (not really) Thanks!!!!! Link to comment
Dave ESPI
yeah its a cube. My 37 gall is similar 25 x 18 x 20 fill it with a 5 inch DSB, and some nice thin shelf or tonga branch rock... it will look nice. Put a decent HOB filter on it and hang some lights over the top.. a Halide pendant should do nicely. Link to comment
