Toomanyfish
Do you have a gyre on a biocube 29 and how do you like it? I'm looking at getting either a power head or gyre for my 29 but don't want to dish out for something that won't work well in a small tank. Any inside experience would be great. Link to comment
Shoob1e
gyre would be some crazy amount of flow for a tank that size, and may look funny on the wall. Link to comment
jeffmr4
You can have the gyre and if necessary add the end cap. I got the xf-130 for my 10 gallon 24 inch long and did that. My clownfish doesn't really like the flow but everything else is fine with it and I don't have any dead spots. It cleared up my cyano a while ago. I run mine on the lowest setting and probably wouldn't run it any higher than that. Because of that I am not able to use pulse mode (essentially I can just use the forward and backward mode. backward mode doesn't do a whole lot.). There is a youtube video of some people using it on a tank similar to yours, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AneoohdeSyM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljyCwvYKm4E Link to comment
