mporange
I´m planing of hooking some T5´s tubes over my 20 gal. i can get a 2 x 24 watt ballast witch would give me a total of 48 watts of T5 But i would like to mount 3 x 24watt tubes. I can also get a 2 x 36 ballast. = 72 watt . Question. can I hook 3 x 24 watt tubes up to a 2 x36 ballast. The 3 tubes needs 72 watt total, and the ballast delivers a total of 72 watt Or would the ballast designed for 2 tubes not be able to "fire" 3 bulbs Link to comment
Rikko
Depends on your household power.. I *believe* you can actually wire 2 T5s in series if your household input is 220VAC (I'm not sure what is used in Denmark) but some fancy footwork needs to be done. Link to comment
