bananagoby
thinking of doing a 70W halide and 2-13w pc atinics with a lot of fan flow Link to comment
doody
Are you going to a sump then pumped to the scwd? I'm planning a closed loop system on my 5g mb. however, I'm not going to a sump. My water will only have to pump the hight of the tank plus head loss of the scwd. So' I'm gonna use the mag 3 with valves to lower the flow if needed. If your going to a sump, you could go with the mag5. Depending on how high the water needs to be pumped. Link to comment
bananagoby
no i'm basically doing what your doing but gonna add carbon to the overflow Link to comment
RP Beesh
i would put a fan in until i test if the pc will effact the temp of water. Link to comment
bananagoby
think im giving up on the overflow too much of a pain to get it all figured out so i'm going back to my AC300 refugium for my filter i'm hopeing it will be ok but still want to use the 70W halide hope it doesn't melt the AC300 Link to comment
