Clownfish eating coral ? (video)

Hey guys, 

 

i got this pair of clown for 2 weeks now, they are pretty interested in my Green Gogniopora, 

 

looks like he want to host it but he keeps biting it, think he is gonna eat it ?

Clownfish will bite their host anemone.  I wouldn't worry too much about it unless the coral seems upset by it, then you're going to have decide between the clowns and the coral.  But they arent going to eat it.

Acetabularia-less

Both of my clowns bite the tentacles off my duncan coral. Maybe it reminds them of a nem, who knows what goes on in the mind of a clown. But if yours start doing damage, you will have a choice to make between the coral and the fish. My duncan is currently in the "dome of safety" (the top of a bottle with some holes punched in it).

very inspiring, my clown fishes are having a hard time hopefully we can schedule a play date for both the fishes and me. Are you down to sling?😉  #slingtv
