joegold
I wanted to know if anyone had ideas regarding ideal fluorescent bulb color temperatures for corals and anemones. Some individuals stress an emphasis on white (6000 to 10,000k) while others claim that more actinic color is benefitial. Eric Borneman, author or "Aquarium Corals" writes "...research indicates that photosynthesis is enhanced by providing light primarily in the blue range...I have found that mixes with 60 to 75% blue light seem to give better results." But this is just one opinion. Thanks!! joe Link to comment
