Dipping Frogspawn/Hammer & acan corals

I'm new to dipping and was told by a local reefer that he never dips these three corals.  According to him every time he has the corals have died within a couple weeks of placing them in the tank.  He however dips all of his SPS and Zoa frags.  The Euphyllia that he does have are thriving and he never treated them.  

 

Anyway im looking for a second opinion.  If you dip these types of coral, what procedures do you use and what product do you use/suggest.  

 

I would like to keep these corals eventually and any help would be would be greatly appreciated.

I just dipped mine in a generic coral dip, following the manufacturers instructions and they've done fine

I dip every coral I buy in Bayer Complete Insect Killer, including acans and euphyllia. No ill effects whatsoever.

Natalia hit the nail on the head. I dip mine in Bayer as well and my hammer is thriving!

I dip everything in coral rx, i've even Fw dipped if need be.

 

Maybe his coral died for other reasons, its not the dip, most of us dip.

That was what I figured, but I wanted a second opinion.  

 

I've considered the Two Little Fishies Revive, & Coral RX, however I don't know much about the Bayer.

I use coral rx, never tried bayer. Can't get it in cda.
