tinyforest
Great work on the stand so far, looks very nice. Looking forward to seeing the progress. Quote Link to comment
bofo
Woah @ your stand. Looks so good! Are you an experienced woodworker? I'm trying to get into stand-building; building a 5 gallon stand to start. Got the standard frame like you've done there, not as good haha. Edit: That is to say, mine's not as good as yours Quote Link to comment
no694terry
nice. you'll love have a wide open front. Working around a stand center brace sucks, especially when trying to squeeze a sump in there Quote Link to comment

Its not as overwhelming as it looks. I just wanted a stand that had alot of room underneath and a little taller so we dont have to bend over to look into the tank. 3 hours ago, no694terry said: nice. you'll love have a wide open front. jdmcbuilt
Update on the tank I had ICK and had to hospital all fish. Lost most fish except for clowns and royal gramma. THEN I had a bad crash of dinoflagellates. I covered the tank with cardboard to completely black out for 2 weeks. I then ended up having to do hydrogen peroxide with the black out for 1 more week. This did the trick it got rid of all algae. All fish and inverts lived. Only corals that survived was my toadstool, kenya tree, candy canes, mushrooms and polyps. Had to restock tank. Going for the acan garden look. Quote Link to comment
jdmcbuilt
Current stock Pink tail trigger. Flame angel Snowflake clown Black ice clown Royal gramma 2 yellow wrasse melanurus wrasse Diamond Goby Pistol shrimp Emerald crabs and hemits. Unknown black slug with white slit on back. Also upgraded some of my equipment. I got rid of the t5 lights and switched to 2-hydra 52HD led. I added a eshopps refugium. I added an overflow box to eliminate the PVC elbow in the tank(this also helped with noise) Quote Link to comment
