12V bulb replacement with LED

I am considering replacing 12V light bulbs in my RV. I made several DIY projects for my tanks but always used a POT and a driver and just followed directions.

Question: is my logic correct that I can wire 3 bridgelux neutral white - 4500k in series to produce a 12V light? Im not sure what the current delivered will be and if this will affect the longevity or brightness of the bulbs.

I have 20 lamps to replace. RV LED bulbs are $10 each +/- and I would love to DIY them for $5 or $6.

Thanks in advance!!

You'll destroy them in pretty quick order. The most you can push through them is about 3.5-3.6v, which will end up with current about 700mA. As voltage goes up even by 0.1v current will increase significantly.
