c_hemmerich Posted August 22, 2004 Share Posted August 22, 2004 ok so i have these little clear bubbles on my trumpet coral. they are around the base of it and today it wasn't opening!!! i have also seen the little bubbles at the base of the aquarium neer my open brain on the substrate or suspended by stringy things. i dont have a digi cam so sorry no pics available but if someone has ever seen this help!!!! could it be eggs of some sort? AReeferIsExpensive Posted August 24, 2004 Share Posted August 24, 2004 i agree...but i doubt u have a phos. test~ Give it a couple days and if any redish/brown film forms, start reading or go get some chemipure. also, many corals secrete thin layers of mucus which sometimes gets "bubbles" and ive seen bubbles on my tumpet corals b4 too.
