gorgonian rooted?

below is an image of the yellow gorgonian i recently put in my tank:

 

 

 

 

yesterday the thing was leaning toward the left side of the tank, almost sideways. tonight i looked at it and it's completely upright and planted firmly in the sand. i didn't touch it. is it possible that this thing rooted itself?? i've never seen this behavior before but i'm also new to gorgonians so either this thing planted itself or my roommate has had his greasy hands in my aquarium :

Possible that current has blown it into possition... otherwise you might want to look for the grease on the hood ! -funny post by the way! AND ONE BEAUTIFUL GORGONIAN!!!
