Canadianeh
My tank has been cycling for one month now, and I also have one small Black and white Clown that was donated to me in a QT tank. My plan is to get one more black and white clown, and a pair of true ocellaris clowns. Will this work in 40 gallons IM Fusion tank? I also want to get a purple firefish, a goby, a Bengal fish, a couple of shrimps, and CUC. Link to comment

A pair of clowns, a pair of Bangaiis, a firefish, and a goby is basically all you could do in a 40. Link to comment

RIP Sebastian
According to this write up you can mix black and orange percs Yes, I have a mixed pair. But DO NOT put multiple pairs in one tank especially a nano. Link to comment
xAyanex
I have a black ocellaris and an orange ocellaris in my tank, but I only have one pair. Link to comment
Clown79
You can mix ocellaris be they black or orange and can mix ocellaris with percs but keeping multiple pairs of clowns in small tanks is basically putting them in a fighting ring. It will lead to death. Unless you have a very large tank, 1 pair of clowns only. Link to comment
Canadianeh
I am going to try 2 pairs. One pair is false black and white percs and another pair is true ocellaris percs I already have one black and white on quarantine tank now. If I want to add the rest to make up the two pairs, can I add them to the QT tank now and then add all of them together to DT tank? How many CUC I need in 40 gallons tank? Link to comment

YOU WILL HAVE A BLOOD BATH ON YOUR HANDS. DO NOT DO THAT. DON'T. Link to comment
Clown79
You do what you want with adding your clowns but we WARNED you. Regardless if you put them in together or seperately, you will end up with 3 dead clowns. 4 clowns in a 40g is a disaster waiting to happen. I think you need to read up on clowns, their relationship together, mating, and of course their gender as they are all hermaphrodites as juvaniles. Link to comment
