I don't understand how corals reproduce so here's some questions.

 

 

1. Shrooms are left unattended, will they split and multiply on their own?

 

2. When fragging something like blastomussa, does the skeleton grow larger on both frags?

 

3. If you leave a coral like blastomussa, will it expand onto a new piece of rock, or will it rewmain that size until it is fragged?

 

Maybe be common knowledge, but I am still relatively new.

1. given the right conditions yes, they will spread like mad.

 

2. the skeleton is always growing on LPS corals, so yes, both frags will grow more skeleton..

 

3. as long as the coral is alive and the conditions are right (ie water/food/light) it will grow and put down more skeleton.
