Looking forward to finally having a clear surface FYI, the EHEIM 350, I'd ever used this skimmer in my fresh tank, (not for the reef, as uses TUNZE 3163 instead), that pulled the film into tank and no need to worry the salt scales from the splashed return water. https://youtu.be/IXWjY6e4v0Y Link to comment

After two days of running this filter, my surface is already clear and my tank looks much healthier. I like this filter a ton since it skims the surface and is dead quiet. Additionally when you turn it off and take out media, the water level stays low so all the loose detritus doesn't overflow into the tank. Perfect solution. I now only use 1 powerhead in the opposite corner and my hammer coral looks a lot happier since the flow is not as intense. Link to comment
