I got two new mini jet 404s and they only shoot striaght out, how do you adjust the direction of flow to the middle of the tank. I want one on each end in back and flow to the middle/front of the tank?

Heres what I did:

Go to Home Depot

get a peice of clear flexible tubing. Make sure it just fits over the minijet discharge.

Find the smallest PVC fittings you can. (in little baggies in Plumbing).

Get 2 ELBOWS that just fit over the clear flexible tubing.

cut 2 pieces of tubing about 1/2 inch long.

fit one tubing piece over the minijet discharge

fit an elbow over the tubing on the discharge

fit the other 1/2 inch long piece of tubing into the other end of the elbow, and attach the second elbow to that.

Don't use glue or any adhesive.

You should end up with something like an "S" at the end of the discharge that you can move around to point in any direction you could possibly want.

Total cost: about $2.00 max.

You can change the direction of the discharge whenever you want, if thats what you mean.

I'm not sure you would be able to spray 2 directions at the same time with one pump.

Oh! if you can find one, you could use a "Y" PVC connector to split the flow.
