Leyth
So, I am trying to fine tune my lighting. This baseline works well and my corals are growing fast and look very colorful. I wanted to post my settings to see if I am in line with what everyone else is seeing success with. No dynamic settings turned on and 1 hour ramp times in between the sections, just a standard set schedule everyday: 10:30AM - 12:30PM Blue: 40% White: 0% Violet: 35% Cyan: 35% Moon: 5% Fan: 40% 12:30PM - 6:00PM Blue: 70% White: 40% Violet: 75% Cyan: 70% Moon: 5% Fan: 75% 6:00PM - 9:30PM Blue: 45% White: 0% Violet: 45% Cyan: 45% Moon: 20% Fan: 45% Would you put any white in the mornings and evenings or does this look right? Thanks ahead Link to comment
reefist
Photoperiod: 1000 to 2200 Ramps: 60 minutes Morning: 150 minutes Blue: 50% White: 0% Violet: 50% Cyan: 50% Fan: 60% Midday Blue: 65% White: 26% Violet: 65% Cyan: 65% Fan: 75% Evening same as morning. Night Moon: 2% I have settled on a 2.5 to 1 blue to white ratio for midday. I prefer no whites in the morning or evening. The tank's new and only houses a few zoas, a red goniopora, and a neon green finger leather for now. Link to comment
DaveFason
Your settings look fine. To be honest tanks will all be different. Some will do great with lower settings while others do great with higher. Let the corals do the talking! Link to comment
