ChesterBay
Interested in finding a retrofit system for my Eclipse 3 hood which rests on a 37 gallon aquarium 30x20x12. (30 length. 20 height. 12 wide) I know that is far from the ideal dimension for a reef. But I'm confident it can be done. Suggestions appreciated. Link to comment
rbeleno
http://www.aquacon.com/smallaquariumlighting.html SM65... You can also find it on other websites for similar prices. I have the exact same setup as you. Link to comment
cameron23
i did something similar with my freshwater 20L (which has an Eclipse 3 hood). go to www.ahsupply.com and get a 2x55 watt kit. it is the about the same price as the 1x65 (but without bulbs) and put one where the t-5s are now and one in the middle part where no bulbs are now. it isn't perfect, but it is a fairly cheap way to put 110 watts in an eclipse. or, for twice the price you could do 2x65 and get 20 more watts, but i would say if you really want to keep the eclipse hood, do 2x55.
