Sal10104
But what if I want to keep a Parthenon? that a type of coral? Thought it's something in Greece. And it was a miss type when I said acropolis. I meant acropora. I wasn't able to keep acros alive under them. Link to comment

I wasn't able to keep acros alive under them. Yeah it is a thing in Greece. So is the Acropolis. I was kidding. Seemed like an odd typo to make, unless you were "trollin" but I suppose if you are on a mobile device it probably autocorrected, mine does that all the time. Anyway, if Reefbreeders are not that great then maybe I don't want to switch to them for my 20. Or maybe they have switched things up since they discontinued their old budget models, I think those used Bridgelux LEDs and all the new ones use Cree. Link to comment

I can get the halides for cheaper than the LED's and they provide a ton more light. Im using 7 chinese e27 5 watt LED's+ 3 250 watt metal halides and i couldn't be happier with it. btw that is on an 8 foot tank. a nano would prob do best with one hailide 150 watts. Link to comment
Horerczy
The reef breeders fixtures are plenty bright for the all range of coral. The idea a halide is, watt for watt, brighter than leds is laughable though. Link to comment
jhaber
Ok with thay being said... What is the best LED fixture that will sustain SPS and also grow? I want to go LED. I have a 250w MH now but want to switch over to LED because of the heat issue and power consumption (I also want to eliminate my chiller) How about the Kessil A360w? Ecotech? Ect... Link to comment
