schaferfred
No, Chemipure is a superior carbon substitute. You won't regret using it. Link to comment
jmguerry12
Will Chemi-Pure still remove the same things that carbon does? Link to comment
Sushi
Chemi-Pure it removes nitrogenous waste like ammonia... and other impurities. very similar to carbon, which is why it can be considered a "replacement" for carbon. give it a shot, a small bottle is usually under 10 bucks... and it'll last you about 1/2 a year Link to comment
AReeferIsExpensive
chemipure has carbon in it Link to comment
MrConclusion
AReeferIsExpensive is right, if you open a bag of chemi-pure you will see that it contains carbon, plus it also has a couple different kinds of resin beads. Like all carbons, it is more effective for the first few weeks. The resins may be what allows so many people to get good results even when using it for 4 - 6 months. Link to comment
