when i frag zoos, where and how do i cut them off the main rock?

I have had the best success by splitting a rock that a colony is on. Single zoos take a while to get big enough to spread. That being said, Cut it off with a razor blade and super glue the polyp to a new rock.

I use a knife the pick them off the rock, it's easier if there is some coraline on the rock as you can get under that with the knofe and lift them off.

 

I fragged some recently and the ones I made with just a few polyps haven't grown much, but the ones I made with about 5 - 8 polyps have already doubled in size, so try to get a group of polyps rather than individual polyps.
