Brightness & Intensity XR15W

I have an XR15W over my 29 Biocube and am running the AB+ program. I understand having the intensity at 50% then ramping it up slowly. The only thing I'm struggling with is the brightness on each point. Everyone discusses intensity but not brightness.

 

Currently I have my brightness set at 60%. Are you all running 100% brightness with lower intensities?

I would probably start at 30-35% and ramp up. What lens are you running and what does your rock scape look like. All of those are important factors to think about. Also water clarity severely inhibits light penetration through water.

 

If you have access to a par meter I would start there.
