MLS_Reef
I have never used chemi-clean in a 10 gallon nano before or a tank with no skimmer. I see people have reported chemi-clean failure in nano tanks. Here is the question, Will chemipure blue suck the chemi-clean right out of the tank? Bonus Question. Do you think i should remove the Chemipure blue while using the Chemi-clean? Link to comment
JavaJacketOC
Take a look at the directions, you do need to remove carbon and chemipure type items, they'll fiter out the active ingredient. However with no skimmer you'll need to add an air-stone to provide additional oxygen to the water column so your stuff doesn't suffocate. It took 2 doses for me to get rid of it but worked pretty well. Link to comment

Ahh, makes sense then...the air-stone instructions are on the box. You're also supposed to do a 25% water change after the 48 hour treatment. Link to comment
