Jonlate
So as a new member here and reading nonstop since I joined, I am really looking forward to setting up my tank over the next few months. I have a fluval 10 liter tank, with heater, and want to keep a few corals and a few inverts to help with cleaning. But my question is what should I upgrade my pump to? So many post I have read have used the 606 pump that's now not made anymore, so what should I use that can fit into the fluval 10 liter space which is 4.8mm by 5.3 mm? Once I have the upgraded pump then I can go ahead and start collecting the rest of what I need. So any help greatly received, and if the pump was available in Europe ( as I live in Ireland!) ( Jealous!!) this would be great as well. Thanks all. Link to comment
ajmckay
Maybe check the Hydor Pico pumps? They're Italian so I would think you should be able to find them pretty easily. One like this: http://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/hydor-pico-evolution-mini-pump Link to comment
Jonlate
Very mixed review of that on that website link, do you have real life experience with it? Any other suggestions? Link to comment
ajmckay
I don't have experience with that pump - but I've had good results from other Hydor products including koralia wave makers and a heater. You're sort of limited by size in this case unfortunately so there's really only a few options. Link to comment
