yrureefing
I put my canopy on my tank and paint chips fell in my tank. I siphoned out all I can see. I don't know what will happen. The tank is 15g. Am I just going crazy or is it realy bad? I only have lr in there? No coral or fish. What should I do? Link to comment
NanoReefer53
Run some carbon in there just in case of any chemicals got dissolved in the water. Link to comment
Dave ESPI
if your top has paint chipping off, then perhaps U need to get a better painted hood..LOL ps: I make them. I highly doubt it is an issue.... dont worrly unless it s leaded paint... ( which hasnt been made since 1982) mostlikely it will be inert and simply get burried in the sand. Link to comment
printerdown01
...bump... Don't think you'll have any problems... Link to comment
Goofnut
The amount of toxic chemicals in polyurethane, paint, etc. is dependent on how much time you let it "cure". Also, did you use latex, oil-based paint, or other? Oil-based paint is considerably more toxic than the former, but works better than latex in marine applications. http://www.co.fairbanks.ak.us/PublicWorks/...te/oilpaint.htm Link to comment
