Tballa
I have an eclipse 6 setup right now, that is going to get takin down and then setup again in a week in a different spot and and with different sand and rock. Theres nothing in there now, but a mantis will go in there. Anyways, the bio-wheel and fiilter are going to have to be takin out, and then they are going to get dry. Is that ok, will the bacteria come back to life when put in water again, or will I have to get a new biowheel? Link to comment
Gross111
I wouldnt even run the bio wheel, or the carbon filter, I havent been running it for over six months and it seems i have had better tank performance since then. Link to comment
Gross111
I have also added crushed coral where the carbon filter was Link to comment
Tballa
I was thinking I could just take out the carbon and bio-wheel, and add a poly filter in the first thing, and chemi-pure in the second. Does that sound good? Link to comment
