Guy
I am running MH on my 29 gallon and am using 2x 175 MH 12k sunburst. They are actually in two separate Icecap hoods, but one of the bulbs failed after 3 months. The other bulb is running fine after 5 months. I am also using the sunburst on my 250-watt set up and have had good luck with that bulb. My question is; is the short bulb life an anomaly? Or have I just been lucky with my other bulbs. The price is good for these bulbs, but the money will mount up quickly if I need to replace them twice as often. Thanks Guy Link to comment
Guy
No suggestions? I'll take that as a good sign Link to comment
skeletor
no, that is not an acceptable life span for a MH bulb, they should last at least 12 months. I would be contacting the supplier. -skeletor- Link to comment
