new set up 12 gal nano reef

Hi,

 

I want to introduce you my new nano-reef, I`ve just finished set up, the specifications are.

 

Acuario:

-Material: Acrilic

-Net capacity: 14 gal.

-Real capacity: 12 gal.

-Measure: 21 x 14 x 14 in h, with bowl font, the tank is divided in the back to put pumas, skimmer, prefilter and refugium.

 

Lighting:

-1 PC de 32 w Ultra-Actinic.

-2 PC de 32 w de 10,000.00 ºk.

-Canope in acrilic black.

-fan of 12 V.

-2 digital timers.

 

Circulation:

-It`s by 2 pumps Rio 800.

 

Filtration:

-Live Rock 20 lb from several places, 60% at front and 40% en el refugium.

-Sustrate: Arag-Alive fiji pink 40 lb.

-Skimmer Prizm de Red-Sea.

dude! i have the same tank and my live rock formation is almost exactly the same! what kind of things are you planning on adding?

Very nice job. Congrats!!!! A few questions;

- I saw 2 pumps. One of the pumps is for return, you have an overflow, Prizm PS has its own pump on, so what is the other pump for?

- Doesn't Prizm PS shadow the refugium, how are you going to put the refugium light?

hi, yes there are two pumps, because i wanted to have more current and i dont want to put inside main tank, about the refugium, I`m not planning to put any algae inside just live rock and sand so I don`t need too much ligth there
