is Aquamend safe for a small nano tank (w/ or w/o carbon?)

 

Is a nano tank too small to use aquamend to hold the corals down? If it's safe, do I need to have carbon in my tank?

I use Aquamend for my larger frags, and Super Glue gel for smaller frags. Both work great. Aquamend thats a little while to set, but sets nice and solid.
