newbiereeferrob
Just looking for some examples of relatively easy to care for corals that would do well with the stock lighting in a biocube 29. Thanks! Link to comment
Sunar357
Zoas, mushrooms and other softies. Link to comment
Newstead
In addition to mushrooms, I have euphyllia in my 29 - frogspawn, hammer and torch - doing well under stock lighting. They are in the middle and top of the rock scape. An acan on a rock in the sand has doubled in size in a few months, but I do target feed it, along with a sun coral, 5 to 6 times a week. cuber14
Duncans (you will need to target feed),torch, frogspawn, star polyps, clove polyps, acans, war coral(favia),and turbinara(pagoda ). I have had these in my BC14 under stock lighting and all have done well. Water quality is as important as lighting. Link to comment
fishfreak0114
Candy cane, ricordea, plate coral, lobophyllia (haven't had it long but it seems happy so far). Will also work Link to comment
Angeles
I have had a duncan, zoanthids, muchrooms, ricordea, acans, frogspawn, an open brain, and a rock flower nem in my 29 for over a year. You can check out my thread to see pics of how they're doing. I'm upgrading soon to the nanobox retro, because I want to see more colors, and be able to keep sps/clams. Link to comment
dpoltsdsu
Most LPS would do fine as well as almost all soft coral. Duncan Lobophylia Euphyllia Species Xenia Zoanthids Clove Polyps Green Star Polyps Mushrooms These are all easy to care for as well Link to comment
newbiereeferrob
Thanks for all of the responses guys! To start, i got two small zoa frags, a green star polyp, and a little pom pom xenia. I'll definitely look into adding some more that you guys mentioned down the road. Link to comment
fishfreak0114
Unless you want the GSP to take over if recommend putting it on its own rock. Those things grow like a weed! Link to comment
