Newtybar
Trying to decide on stocking for my tank. I believe I want anthias, but I don't want just three. I believe at least five is ideal for the shoaling look. I'm just wondering if this is overkill for my tank. I currently have 2 clowns and a baby (1 year old) hippo tang. Equipment set-up: Sump: Aqueon Proflex Sump - Model 4 (30 gallon sump) - probably filled to 20 or so gallons. Skimmer: Reef Octopus 110 EXT Recirculating ATO: Tunze Osmolator 3152, custom made Oceanbox Acrylic container Wavemaker/Flow: Two Jebao RW-8s (replaced the Maxspect Gyre XF 130) Lights: Nano Box Duo x 2 Automation: Neptune Apex Jr. Reactor: BRS Dual GFO / Carbon Reactor Link to comment
MakoMan36
I used to have 10 fishes in my 57g. The issue is are your bacteria able to handle that much fishes and more feeding all of a sudden? You might want to add them slowly or you will see ammonia spike. What I did was I fed my 5 fishes very heavy upper the feeding every 4-5 days for 4 weeks then I added the other five in at one time with no spike on my system. Link to comment
