That first in chamber is where you're going to do the most cleaning and changing of stuff (ie crapper trapper) so you want easy access to it. The return chamber is fine on either side. Totally get what you're saying. Problem is then the lines cross and I'm trying to avoid that. I want the return to go up as straight as possible. Stella's Tank...... ARCE! But skimmer will be weekly, crapper trapper monthly (I thought?) Yeah, crapper trapper monthly or so. Guess it really depends on bioload and how much you feed Link to comment
