StayGold
okay, so reposting my first FTS because I plan to always edit my first post to the latest FTS Here's my tank on it's stand. (previous aquascape which i have since mildly rearranged) I'm able to keep my reservoir on one side, and all of my supplies on the other: and of course my fury baby has to get in the way: until he gets bored and goes back to sleep.... And, here are my two clowns Ackbar: Ahsoka: for the record: these little guys were so hard to zoom in on and try to get a clear photo of. so I apologize on the quality of their pictures. StayGold
I got a box full of goodies today from InTank. I had no idea how large the filter floss was. I was quite surprised as I took out four large sheets of them. can't wait for them to make my water more wet. also these baskets are just perfect. going to do a water change and then put them in. I also bought the IM Gourmet Grinder. I bought 1mm pellets for my clowns, and they couldn't swallow them, so for the past week I've been grinding the pellets down with my finger and I just wasn't having it. This has made feeding so much easier. love the scape and the clowns. some of the best picassos i have ever seen. Thank you! I really appreciate it. I couldn't be happier with the little guys. They're the quirkiest duo to watch. Link to comment

StayGold
what r u planning to stock for corals and additional fish? I'm still debating on what my first few corals should be. I'm thinking some type of LPS a long the lines of frogspawn / torch / or a hammer in hopes that the clowns will host it ( i have no desire to get an anemone ) I also want to pick up a few mushroom ricordeas. And, I'm obsessing over the Jedi Mind Trick monti, because I'm a hardcore Star Wars fan and it's pretty much a must for me to get. That's what I have planned for my first few corals, going to start slow, then slowly add. As for more fish, probably just a shrimp and goby pair. Link to comment

I've been wanting to get a frenchie for awhile too, but just haven't really gone through with it. Link to comment

We didn't want him to get aggressive or territorial so we decided it was the best for him. Ours is right at 55lbs, but still thinks he's a lap dog. Link to comment
StayGold
Update today. I received my NanoBox Duo and an EcoTech MP10 Quiet Drive. My Duo: Really like this light. Aesthetically and functionality, I just love it. My only con is I ordered mine with a moonlight channel. As you can see there are only the standard LED pucks. Emailed Dave immediately, and he's rushing a Duo with the moonlight. Can't say how happy I am with his customer service. He was easy to talk to, and couldn't apologize enough on his goof up. So once I receive that in the mail this weekend, I'll just mail this one back. So really, I'm a happy customer. MP10: Driver: I was on the fence about the MP10, but knew I should probably get a powerhead for this tank, so I said "what the hell" and ordered one. This thing really is the gold standard. Not really sure what mode to rock, and at what power setting.... so I just threw it on Reef Crest Mode and put it at just a hair under 50% Anyone have input / advice on settings and power levels I should try out? and... current FTS: Really love how the tank looks now. Edit: I pulled a lot of the Blue / Violet out of photo in post processing. I love unsaturated photos personally. Last notes: Order a CUC from ReefCleaners today. And this weekend I should be going to pickup my first Coral Frags. Link to comment
deathbyart
Considering we have pretty much the same setup.. have to compliment your taste. Link to comment
StayGold
Small Update: Received my CUC from ReefCleaners today! I went with the 15g quick crew. and man... are there so many snails! They're starting to come out and move around and it's pretty fun to watch. also got a little bonus by getting a crab !!! but now.... I believe I need to pickup some shells for it, even though it's already in a very large shell. Link to comment
StayGold
I finally picked up a few Coral frags!!!! But, getting a great photo of them was quite difficult. I was limited on time so I rushed a few quick shots. I'll try to get better photos soon, since two are pretty blurry and not the best. anyways. Orange Ricordea Mushroom: Australian Pink Hammer: Screaming Green Birdsnest: And i just HAD to get a frag of Jedi Mind Trick for Ackbar and Ahsoka to enjoy! I had a really hard time getting this one in focus. it was a tricky angle. That's it for now. Forgot to take a FTS. And just really really excited to see these corals grow out. Link to comment
