mn3kgtvr4
I just purchased a 32"X4"X16" 8 gallon wall hanging aquarium from bizarreaquariums.com I had planned on small fw cichlids but am thinking this would make a cool nano. Problem is, I can't think of a way to get CF lighting onto this narrow tank. It comes with a 16" long single tube flourescent fixture. Anyone know of a way to get CF onto it? Thanks. (I mean Power Compact lighting) Link to comment
mn3kgtvr4
Yeah, after some more searching it looks I should be able to get 4-5 watts per gallon with a retrofit kit. My concern now is if a 16" long light fixture on a 32" long tank will give me enough light on the sides. I'll have to wait til the tank arrives and figure out if I can maybe put a 24" light onto it or something. Thanks. Link to comment
Cellenzweig
If you can make your own canopy for it, 4-5 24" t5 bulbs would be great. You could get 3 10k and 2 actinic. Link to comment
