hwk7072
I am thinking about setting up this tank against a northeast window. We put it in this location to make some room against the wall before moving it, but I thought it actually looked pretty good there. The location never gets direct sun, and as you can see in the image the eves are rather deep, several feet. It's a Nuvo 30, so the back is blacked out. Think it's still too risky? Link to comment
Halo_003
Should be fine. You might need more blue to compensate for the color, but sunlight (indirect included) is good for the tank IMO. Link to comment
Alexraptor
Did somebody say sunlight? Honestly IME the only thing you really need to worry about with sunlight is overheating, which isn't much of an issue if you keep the system properly cooled. Sure some people go on about sun and algae blooms, but that depends entirely on how you are with managing nutrient levels in your tank. Link to comment

Alexraptor
I got mine as hitchhikers, after that they have been growing and spreading like weeds lol. Attractive weeds though. Link to comment
