Tioman Posted September 28, 2015 Author Share Posted September 28, 2015 Interesting last couple months, tank is doing well but just about everything mechanically that could go wrong did. First the Tunze powerhead would not start when turned off unless you spun the prop, then the second port on the Apex VPN failed, Cobalt heater died, now the after a power failure the Apex controller does not return to the present date and time so it throws all programing out of wak. The guys at J&L Aquatics have been great with all of the over the counter replacements, it's just a pain in the butt tearing everything apart and putting back together. The two clowns are best buddies "Walter and his hooker girlfriend Bubbles" are doing a kind of weird dance with each other, looks like they might be pairing off, but a little young yet. Found a small frag of some type of Montipora in the cheap bin a week ago along with small Frogspawn, both have acclimatized well. Also found a ugly little critter in the rockwork, turned out to be a Stomatella snail, googled him they are good for the tank so he can stay.
